Have you been looking for that perfect festival that serves not only some of the finest craft beers but also one of the world’s tastiest treats – bacon? Well here is your opportunity, and it’s taking place Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd at Citi Field in New York City!

The Bacon & Beer Classic is a beer and bacon lover’s dream festival where you get to sample a wide variety of both and then watch as 50 breweries and tons of restaurants are judged by renowned culinary professionals to see who can serve the best and most creative eats (count us in)!

At the top of any bacon connoisseur’s list is BarBacon, located at 836 Ninth Ave, where you can find not only great craft beers, but enough bacon to satisfy anyone’s craving! Here you will find a Beer and Bacon Flight that allows you to choose four artisanal bacons to pair with four 5oz. craft brews. They also serve other interesting bacon dishes including Bacon Guac and Chips and a House Cured Lamb Bacon Reuben (enough said).

Talde Brooklyn

 Looking for something different for breakfast or brunch? Check out the Breakfast Ramen at Talde, located at 369 7th Avenue in Brooklyn. Noodles, thick honey-glazed bacon and a soft six-minute egg “swimming” in a buttery broth… yes please!

Crif Dogs

According to most NYC residents, you haven’t had breakfast until you’ve tried a Good Morning Dog from Crif Dogs, which are not only raved about but can be found in the East Village, West Village and Williamsburg. These delectable dogs are wrapped in bacon, thrown on top of a fried egg and smothered in cheese. It’s hard to think of a better way to start the day!

Sweet Chick NYC

Need something a little lighter, but still full of bacon, for the lunch hour? Head over to Sweet Chick, located at 178 Ludlow Street, and you will find their Kale BLT Salad. Your body will thank you after you’ve finished this crunchy kale salad, loaded with house cured bacon and topped with a lemon vinaigrette! If you still have room, try their bacon-wrapped oysters too!


Now on to the next meal… dinner! Head over to Whitmans, located at 406 E 9th Street, and be amazed by this stylish burger bar that creates craft burgers using local, seasonal ingredients. What to order? The PB&B Burger! This beef short rib blend is served with organic peanut butter and applewood smoked bacon, all on a potato bun. This prize of a burger is enough to blown anyone’s mind, but wait until you see their prices!

Print Restaurant

What ground hasn’t been covered… a sweet treat! Inside of the Ink48Hotel, located at 653 11th Avenue, you will find a hidden treasure – Print Restaurant. Here is where you can pick up one (or two) of those famous Maple Bacon Sticky Buns that you’ve probably heard someone raving about. How can a sticky bun be a revelation? Well, top it with chopped bacon (from Mountain View Farm in NY) and smother it in a maple butter glaze and you’ve got yourselves a show-stopper! Don’t believe me?
